Isabela Soares de Souza Marques was born on 13 January 1998 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais in Brazil. Since childhood, she had a passion for acting. Later she chose the same as her career. She got her first professional acting experience when she was about 16 years old when she took part in the play ‘Verão Sem Fim’ in 2014.
When she was 10 years old, her family had to move to Rio de Janeiro due to some reason. There she took artistic training at the Centro de Capacitação Profissional em Artes Cênicas. A year later, she got a chance to play the character Brida in Disney Brazil’s ‘Juacas’ series. She had to go to Florianópolis to prepare for the filming of this series.
Career
Isabela started her acting career with the series ‘Juacas’ which was produced by Disney Brazil when she was 11 years old. After this, she got a chance to work in other series. She also got some awards for her acting. Apart from this, Isabela has also sung songs for Disney.
In 2018, she got a chance to perform the song ‘Minha Vez’ for the ‘Elena of Avalor’ animated series. In the same year, she was selected to play the character ‘Bia Urquiza’ in the ‘BIA’ TV series. The series was produced by Disney Channel Latin American Original Production. Along with Isa, Spanish Actor Julio Peña also played the main character Manuel Gutierrez. Isabela had to learn Spanish to work in this series.
In 2019, she got a chance to work on the Latin American and Brazilian soundtracks of the movie Aladdin. She sang “Callar” and “Ninguém me cala” which are Spanish and Portuguese versions of the song ‘Speechless’.
